Our mission is to strengthen the democratic integrity of politically unstable regimes by supporting agile civic actors who are globally united by the principles of human rights democracy, and free speech, in their unwavering pursuit of freedom and respect.
Integria, z.ú. (registered institute) undertakes projects aimed at bolstering the rule of law, national democratic integrity, and human rights, primarily in South-East Asian countries and within the European Union. Our activities encompass a broad spectrum, ranging from educational initiatives and research to the support of journalists and free media, as well as the facilitation of experience-sharing among civil society actors and policymakers. We operate as both a think tank and a mediator, fostering dialogue between civic and political stakeholders, and also as an organiser of cultural events. Additionally, we facilitate independent investigations into breaches of sanctions, illicit financial flows, and cross-border corruption.
Integria’s primary focus is to advance democratic development in Myanmar and Vietnam, yet we operate also in Taiwan and Thailand. Our efforts are supported by a diverse group of donors, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy, among others.
Our work is underpinned by the extensive expertise and long-standing collaboration of our members, developed through previous and ongoing engagements with various NGOs in the Czech Republic dedicated to human rights. These organisations include Transparency International Czech Republic, the Prague Civil Society Centre, AGORA, Spolek “ASTRA” – Asociace pro Transparentnost, the Foundation Open Society Fund Prague, Romodrom, META, Nepodmíněný základní kolektiv, Díky, že můžem, Budějovický Majáles, and others.
